Clinical Supervision &
Reflective Practice

Clinical supervision has been and continues to be an essential part of my own clinical practice.  Over the years I have experienced a range of clinical supervisors and so I appreciate the importance of working with a supervisor who feels like a ‘good fit’.

Clinical supervision should feel like a safe space to explore and reflect on clinical issues as well as challenges, and to develop strategies to deal with these.  I have completed BPS approved supervisor training at Sheffield University, namely the Supervisor Training and Recognition (STAR) programme.

I am an accredited CAT supervisor and can offer CAT supervision on an individual or group basis to:

  • Accredited CAT practitioners and psychotherapists
  • Trainee CAT practitioners and psychotherapists
  • Other healthcare professionals who want to work in a CAT informed way

“I learned to appreciate the power of the listening professional to catalyse self-reflection.”
